Over the past 20 years Comunika has enjoyed constant levels of growth, offering a wide-range of communication and sales solutions to a diverse client base. We’re a 24-person agency specialising in advertising, communication, and marketing, located close to the Atwater Market in Montreal. We deliver multiplatform tools for communication and offer a full base of marketing services, advice and strategic planning, across all media.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As the social media and web community coordinator you will have a key organizing role at Comunika, ensuring the success of multiplatform digital communities and the agency’s social media campaigns. Roughly 75% of your time will be dedicated to the management of a digital lifestyle community for pet owners and the remaining time will focus on other Comunika web and social media initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the creative, successful management of Comunika’s online communities and social media campaigns
- Be the coordinator and central point of contact for these initiatives
- Participate in the strategy and execution of impactful marketing and social media initiatives
- Create social media posts, newsletters and related content
- Coordinate content creation, editing, translation and publication with members of the content team and freelancers
- Organize, coordinate and maintain related editorial calendars
- Engage with members of Comunika’s online communities, respond to posts and maintain a consistent presence across platform components
- Ensure the proper collection of data in collaboration with the agency’s technical team to track/improve efficiency
- Participate in the optimization of initiatives using Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console, Facebook Ads Manager and SEMrush
- Maintain a successful working relationship and coordination role with team members
- Ensure pleasant and proactive client communication
- Participate in the evolution of procedures and their execution

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
- 3-5 years in a similar position
- DEC or undergraduate degree in communications, management, marketing, public relations, social media or related field
- Excellent English and French (spoken/written). Note: much of your work will be in English
- Excellent knowledge and working experience with social media as well as management and analysis tools and platforms
- Experience coordinating online communities
